We suddenly have a whining noise when the car is running. We can only pinpoint it to the trunk/rear tire area. It's continuous as if there's a motor or something running. The convertible top goes up and down without issue. The back fin opens and closes without issue. Any ideas of what it could be?
The way you make your statement as to the car "running" I assume the noise is present even when stopped, not moving down the road, but the engine is running?
With the car running and you hear the noise pull the fuses that power the hydraulic top and those associated with security system. When the noise stops you found your problem.
