If you're referring to the Honda Beat cars that were present, I'm going ot assume it was because the car was the original design of Pavel Hušek at Pininfarina. Hence a somewhat hybrid which was the overall theme of this year's show.

The Toyota GR Supra shown shares engines & other parts with the BMW Z4. The 5th generation Supra is assembled alongside the G29 BMW Z4 in Graz, Austria by Magna Steyr. Direct comparison to our Crossfires.

It was kind of surprising to not see any Shelby Cobras attending.
