My dash light won't go out with this bulb and I'm wondering if it has to do with the different amperage. I checked every other bub everywhere on the car and can't find any other burnt out bulbs. I mean everywhere. Any suggestions? The 6418 bulb that is called for will not fit!
I went through this problem myself a while ago when converting to LEDs.
The 6418 bulb is 36mm which is to short. The 6451 or 578 LED is 41 - 42mm and is the size that fits.
