I replaced my radiator with a Nissens 2025007803.
My question is: how should the banjo bolt of the transmission coolant line sit on the radiator.
I have taken a picture from the bottom of the vehicle looking up. As you can see there are threads exposed. The bolts have been tightened, and I can not run them in any further. Should it be flush against the radiator.
I ran the car at idle with the heat on for about 30 minutes to get the thermostat temp up and to kick the fan on. There were no leaks noted.
If for some reason that the bolts should be flush to the radiator, do I need to take everything apart and start over as if I was replacing the radiator again.
If I disconnect the transmission lines from the radiator, will coolant run out or just a little transmissions fluid? I started connecting the transmission lines by hand tightening-hope I didn't strip them. Please let me know your thoughts.
