Location role call...
Whittier CA, about 15 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Halfway between Los Angeles and Orange County. Two hour drive south to San Deigo, (110 miles or so) and 2 hours north to Santa Barbara, (110 miles or so). less than 30 minutes to the beaches or mountains. Our so called "winters", you can drive to the beach in the morning and surf, then head to the mountains to ski in the afternoon! The decent ski slopes from here are about a 2-3 hour drive. Sometimes I call my friends back east, like NY, and tell them I have been driving for like 6 or 7 hours, and they always ask, 'Damn, what state are you driving through now?". Still in California! Long drive up the coast to the SF Bay area! It's cooling down here today, it's like maybe 70 degress tonight at 8:45pm as I type this sitting out by the pool!

The most beautiful part of the country.
I have been there many times and covered the entire length of the state.
Unfortunately not in a Crossfire.
