And highest VIN - not me. My '08 roadster is 75820. I sure do admire those who bought this car early on! Smart folks. It was out of my price range then, tho I always loved the look. And just yesterday received my personalized tag - it says MY XFIRE. It is already a hit................ Alicia

I don't know if partial traction wheels would be a good idea!

Default Lowest VIN Number?

When Eric Stoddard was signing my car at the Dream Cruise this last weekend, I mentioned that I had an very early car and he asked what number it was. He was upset, he thought he had one of the older ones, but his is somewhere in the 3000s and I am number 1178.

Anyone here have anything lower than 1178?

Just curious...

Wow, 1178... I have 3011, so I may be lower than Stoddard. Mine was manufactured in July of '03.

Simple math would dictate that there are or were 1177 below that.
How many of the early models came to North America is the question you are actually asking. Production started sometime in the new year of 2003. CICCI has a VIN registry and that should provide a clue.

Fair enough, but how many have been wrecked or totaled for small issues and non-available parts, as you say, how many have been sent over places, etc.

I figured it was one of the lowest here that actually posts, but wanted to see what else would pop up.

Also, they don't let me in over at CICCI anymore

My baby is #135, she's getting old lol.

As far as that remark about some early ones being wrecked... My replacement V6 PCM that I bought on ebay had 4x000079. I saved the file just because of that lol. Wonder what happened.

Yeah, I don't remember what month day or hour but she's an early 03. I want to say the month was between march and june but I'd have to look again.

Assuming the production order is the last four of the VIN, mine was number 2,063. Sweet!

Technically it is the last 6, but that first digit of the last six will always be 0.
