Crossfire with 3 Air Horns off of a Semi Truck
Has anyone else put air horns in their crossfire, or is it just me? It was a lot of work trying to find room for the air tank, compressor, 2 13 in horns, a 24 in horn, and setting it all up without destroying the my car or making it noticeable, but it was worth it. They can easily scare anyone standing within 50 yards of my car. These pictures are of the horns before I hid them in the bumper, but it gives you an idea of whats in there. If you guys want to hear them, I can always make a video.(:
We (im)patiently await the video . . .
I'm thinking it will be something like this . . .

The air tank is obviously in the trunk, then I ran a 3/8 inch air hose from my trunk to my front bumper where my air horns are at. Getting them in there was such a pain in the a**. Not only are they long (1 26 in horn and 2 13 in horns) but they are wide so it was hard to wiggle them in there. At first, I had all three just sitting in the bumper, running parallel to the bumper, and being held in place with zip ties. But I realized they were being muffled and weren't nearly as loud as they should be. So last night I took off my fog light covers, and put the two shorter horns facing out of through where my fog lights would be. This greatly improved the loudness and now the sound is more directional so I can aim it. The longer horn is still laying in there side ways, but it gives a good low pitch sound. I'll upload a picture of the horns as of this morning after I moved them around, you'll notice them sticking out. Im still working on the video! Soon to come.
