You should be able to get things back together but be aware that there is a limited range of adjustment. If your lights are dim you might want to replace them with some brighter bulbs or HIDs. There is a thread about bulb replacement, it can be done without removal, I had to make a tool to undo the wire clips but in any case take your time and you will be fine.
