Thanks!
Thanks to Gary for opening up this section. I've been trying for 2 weeks to express my heartfelt THANKS to all that attended the recent TMS event at the Texas Motor Speedway. As most knew, I had sold both my crossies, SNOWWHITE and BLUE BOY due to health problems and long term battle with Parkinson's. It was a hard decision to make, and two months later I wound up in the hospital with Pneumonia and C-diff. I wanted to attend the September TMS Children's charity event ands even tho I was carless, I was treated as one of the bunch, as was Terry and Margaret Robinson . I would like to express my thanks to all that attended what may have been my last time out of the blocks, The biggest surprise was when we were gathered in the lounge at the Motel 6 Dan Henke (?) pulled the rabbit out of the hat and presented me with a fremed picrture of You Gary and I in the winners circle from the previous event. To all those that signed it, THANKS!!!! I don't know how you guys pulled it off, but it was the nicest gift anyone could think up, I just wish my lawnmower would choke up like I did. BLESS ALL OF YOU. I will probably stop driving this year but I hope to make more events as I am able to with my beautiful bride of 58 years handling the wheel.
love, good health and may the birds drop their nasty bombs on the cars of another badge.

John,
You are admired by everyone who has had the pleasure to meet you
I will always remember when you gave me the opportunity to drive your SRT on the Texas Motor Speedway while you road as the passenger....then we had the photo taken together in victory lane with the SRT.
I wish I was able to be there when Dan presented you the plaque.
Best wishes to you and yours and I do hope to cross paths again at another Crossfire meet somewhere, sometime

John, as always, it was good to see you and Eileen again. I also remember the year TMS fell on Sept 11, and you brought everyone US Flags for our cars while on the track. Still have them displayed proudly on my wall next to my large US Falg. Thanks again, and many more miles under your tires.

Central Texas Crossfires hasn't been the same since you sold Snow White and Blueboy.
It took the heart out of us.
You was the glue (leader) that held us together for many successful GTGs.
You are a good friend. You and Eileen are always welcome to visit with us.
