after 10 years of being on the forum...
~ i must say crossfire sightings on the roadways are few and far between these days ... i saw a white one today and it made me smile!
i love the looks of these cars! my prior crossfire is still my favorite car to date!

Not many in Baton Rouge but I do see one now and then. I actually saw one with a 10 behind the wheel so I slowed down to um, admire her car, which I think was, well not sure what color her car was but it was nice.
If I wasn't a child of the muscle car era, I'd probably agree 100% with you.
The only thing my 1969 does better, is make me feel 19 again.
I went to Waffle House yesterday in Huntsville, AL and saw a black roadster there. I see a sapphire blue one at the Walmart around here pretty often. There is also a red one for sale at the dealer in front of my neighborhood exit.
I see one at least once a day, always a SSB SRT6 Coupe, in my garage. What a great sight for the almost eight years. I also grew up in the sixties muscle car era, but the Crossfire handles much better on the curvy roads.

I never saw crossfires except for the occasional car show. But recently in SE Portland/Gresham area i know of over ten. They are everywhere around here now. Only know of one srt 6 thought.
My commute north of Philadelphia is 30 miles each way. I take the turnpike half of that in the morning, and back roads on the return trip. I'm lucky to see one Crossfire a month.
I believe I see more crossies than ever. Now that they are a bit older ,some garage queens have lost their luster and are downgrade to daily drivers.
Plus, given their resale values, a lot of them are going to younger drivers who use them far more frequently than the older hobby drivers.
The Local High School has two on the lot from time to time. more than the N body Camaros and Firebird wrecks that usually populate such agoras.
Cheaper than a ricer and cooler to drive.
Mom and dad like them 'cause their relatively cheap, dependable, very safe and lack a backseat.
Or maybe it's just me.

Yeah, I'm in the 1 per month category around here. A few more in the summer only because of my fellow Crossrfire car club events but that's about it. Then again, I see a few more of the Crossfires now than I do my other car -- A Pontiac G8. I almost never see any around here.
Just occurred to me that it is 10 on the forum for me also. Andrew - you might be the last of the 03 guys. Can't think of any others that are still around.
I see a few Crossfires around but only if I'm not in mine. This has always been true but have never figured out why.

( I'm just jealous )
