Default Buying a second key in 2014

Hi all,

At the risk of spending six hours searching, I'm going to act like a newbie on this Friday and ask a quick question -- where's the best place to order a spare key?

The new buyer would like one, and I remember we used to use remotesandkeys.com (or something like that) but wasn't sure if the dealer was now a reasonable venture.

Thanks,

I know... I only got one key with my purchase, but I'm being a gentleman since he's giving me full asking price.

It's 40% as of this morning. It's going to be hot as hell, but I'd like to go if it's dry.

You're saying that like it's the first time you've been a gent.

Not true I'm sure.

Can I really be a complete noob and ask what is his number or email? I just bought an 05 Roadster and the key looks a little rough so i would like a spare. I'd love to check this out before trying the dealer.

You can buy a new Mercedes case on eBay for $8 to $20 and take the guts out of yours and assemble it in the new case, it will look like new.
Click

My old fob in pieces and the new fob assembled.
