Default Who bought my old Crossfire??

Just did a search and found where my Crossfire was recently sold up in Cleaveland, OH where I traded it in.

I've got the second key if the new buyer would like it.

Sorry to hear you sold it, Grip, wish I could have gotten my hands on it. Do you have big plans for your new car? I assume you'll still be a regular here on the forum, I certainly hope so

Thanks for the kind remarks.

I'm sure the CL65 will follow in the SRT6's footsteps. I've already installed a ECU and TCU tune, and I'm in the process of tweaking them. Car is night and day faster now with the latest revision. I ordered a Killer Chiller setup last night, and plan to have it installed within a week or two. After that the mods will be on hold, except for maybe downpipes or removing the cats.

As always, I intend to stick around and pester the forums even after the car is gone.

Just did a search on the srt6 vin list and I have it! When I bought it the factory wheels where on it, so after some searching I finally pieced together a set of Reps. I hate SSB (its growing on me I guess) and I really wanted another black xf but seeing pictures of your car with those wheels was enough for me to buy an SSB...

Huh?? I don't follow. I'm pretty certain they sold it with the Brabus Reps, as that's the way it's shown in their listing. You said your's had stock wheels, but you had to piece together stock wheels. I don't follow? Did you buy it from Autos Direct? If not, maybe they auctioned it and the next dealer changed them out.

No it wasn't autos direct and it had factory wheels on it.

I found two fronts on a the vortex forum and the rears from eBay.

I think he's talking about your 1st SRT6, not the one you just sold? Remember the 1st one?

This is getting really strange. The car I had was driven less than 5K miles on the original cats. I bought the car with 3,900 miles. I removed the downpipes and installed Rob's catless downpipes. I ran it with them for a year, and reinstalled the pristine factory downpipes a week before trading it in.

How many miles are on the car?? Did you find a note from me in the owner's manual?? Do you mind disclosing where you bought the car?

I bought it in Cleveland at a small dealer ship Ricks Preowned I think really freakin sketchy! They never had time to post an add anywhere.

I originally saw an add on auto trader by autos direct online with no pic no description just a vin carfax and odo reading at 21k but when I called the next morning they said the car was traded but he had the contact info so I called them set everything up went out and bought it.

The ride home was normal but a few days later the cats started ticking which from what I've read on here the srt6 cats had a flaw most around 25-30k miles. I don't drive the car hard nor do I intend to I bought it to cruise on the weekends my wife and I do a lot of bed and breakfast trips and wine tasting events and the ticking noise is just irritating... The car was so clean and the mileage was so low I couldn't pass on it. I can deal with the color being that the the mileage is so low.

What size spacers did you run on the rears with the Reps? I have 5mm on it now I had them in a pile from my old XF but I think I need 10mm I'm running Good Year Eagle F1s I believe the same size you had 285/35 19s?

I almost forgot I found your note but it was after I had removed the camera and all the wiring... I purchased the car well over a month ago it was the week after Easter.

Wow, I guess one of the dealers liked the Brabus reps enough to keep them. I liked the look of 15mm spacers on the rear, but your taste may differ. As for the tire sizes, I believe you're correct.

Keep in mind, the cats have 5K miles on them, not 22K. However, the car sounded great with the NW downpipes.

PM my your address and I'll send you the extra key.
