Default Luggage difference between Limited and SRT6

Hello folks!

I would really like to own the Crossfire luggage as I travel quite a lot and I especially love the duffel bag and the carry-on.
Now I found one on Ebay (Crossfire Limited) and also a SRT6 version online. Please find the pieces here:

Limited: Chrysler Crossfire 3 Piece Luggage Set | eBay

SRT6: http://www.collection.chrysler.com/p...46&pf_id=10GCC

Given that the prices are obviously different, are both sets the same except for the SRT6 badge on the luggage pieces or are there differences? That being said, I'd prefer the Limited version as that is what my car is

Nick

Nick you can't do better than the SRT price, the other is twice the price and they are the same except for the SRT logo.

Thanks for your reply. I am going to order the SRT6 one then! I appreciate it! Can't wait to take a look at it when it gets here. Looks real nice. Do you own one?

Chrysler dealerships do not sell the luggage, the sets came with the cars when new. The SRT6 luggage has SRT6 metal name plates and the baggage lining and piping is gray instead of black, otherwise the sets are the same.

If you remove the metal "SRT6" badges to make the set look like a limited set, I'd really like them to make my limited set look like an SRT6 set. Let me know ... cheers

They were delivered a few weeks after you purchased the car, mine popped up on the front step one day.

Very cool. I am going to order the SRT6 set from the website. Somewhere on here I found a 30% discount code with free shipping. Find it hard to believe it's still valid but it's worth a shot.

And yes, if I decide to remove the badges (depending on how much damage I can cause when I remove them ) I have no problem sending it to you IBLUBYU!

I bought a set for $35k and received a free Crossfire roadster back in 2005. Subsequently ordered two more "regular" and one SRT6 set over the years. The SRT6 externally looks the same as the regular other than the SRT6 badges. I never opened them - three sets are still in boxes. The duffel and small bag are holding up very well. The fake leather on the front of the roller bag is cracking and looks crappy now, but otherwise the bag has held up quite well for one long trip in Europe and probably 40 plane trips in the US, plus 000s of miles in the trunk of my XFs and A6.

Goldwing, does the roller bag fit in the roadster's trunk with the divider in place so you can still put the top down?

Yes it does with a normal "fill". One caveat -- do NOT unzip and use the expansion option. The option expands the roller depth by 3" and it will not fit. It is a snug fit even under normal conditions and there is room under the top and next to the roller for additional items. E.g., the carry-on soft bag will also fit. I tend to slide shallow items like jackets, shoes, bottles of wine under the soft top before packing the bags. Obviously it is wiser to pack the trunk after the top is down to make sure nothing interferes.

Thank you sir! I'll be needing a new luggage set in the near future, and have been debating between this set, and the one here: Chrysler Crossfire Luggage Bags. Obviously a roller bag is a little more convenient when flying...

Just a quick update...I am still looking for a luggage set! I tried to order from www.collection.chrysler.com but the set is on backorder and the customer support of said website is so bad that it almost makes me not want to order from there.
I was told the set isn't available and they could not take down my information to inform me when it becomes available again. I should just check back every day! Seems like they don't need my business.
Either way, I guess I'm going to keep a look out on Ebay again - even though the only 3 set luggage available there at this point is $200 plus $50 shipping, which is a bit high if you ask me!
So I'll just keep looking...One of these days I'll find a nice one though

Actually their customer service has been excellent (when they have the item you want available). Keep checking back as somehow they have "found" more inventory after they've previously run out of stock. Good luck . . . It's nice quality luggage and worth following up on . . .

I am checking back almost every day! I really want to own one of these luggage sets and can't wait to receive one! Been checking on Ebay but after seeing the price on the website ($90) I am not really willing to hand over $250 like some of the folks on Ebay are asking!

$250....maybe I need to sell the two sets of SRT luggage I have on the shelf. These wheel deals for the MB are killing me....

If you check my original post, Chrysler Collection is the website I have been talking about originally. However, the luggage has been on backorder ever since and I have not been able to buy one despite the price being AMAZING!
On Ebay they range between $200 and $250! Seems to be hard to come by these days! I will keep looking though...

how do they have a back order for something that hasn't been made in over 9 years ??? The molds for the luggage have probably been destroyed by now.
