Anyone know where I can get some extra letters for the toy's Crossfire? I drove the Crossfire for about 9 hours in some extreme heat 108 degrees and they are now missing> Would be willing to pay you or please lead me to a source to buy them. Thanks for your time. (Cros-SF-ire)

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know if they're still available over the parts counter?
I mean I know you can't buy individual letters, but I'm talking about the complete stencil.
If they still sell it, does anybody know what it costs?

 

I think you can still buy the letters, but it is a complete set. Cost was $85.00/set, but I think I remember someone paying $125.00 for a set.

Forum members send their letter they have removed and I clean them and put new adhesive on them and send them out for free. I just ask that they check what is still on the car and repair/new adhesive ,so they don't lose anymore. The letters are getting harder to find.

I found a supply that makes letters, but they are not the same as OEM. you would need to changes all the letters as they are not the same. They cost about $40.00 for a set.

WOW Dave, That's a great link find! They show a 'bow molding' (the rubber seal molding that goes around the rear edge of the convertible top and up the rear edge of the door glass . . . the bow). Through Chrysler that part is on national back order which means it's not available anywhere and there are no immediate plans to produce any more. I've been trying to find one from a salvage yard but so far no one was willing to remove the molding . . . they would only sell the compete convertible top with all the framework. I just e-mailed that company at your link to see if they actually have this part available. Hoping they do!

FYI NOTE: I don't know if those are OEM letters or a close aftermarket imitation. Also the guy behind this website has a bad reputation with many members of this forum. Before knowing that history I bought some things from that website and had no problems. Just passing information along . . .

These are just flat sticky letters, not thick like OEM ones.
