warranty 2006 xfire coupe limited
I bought a 2006 xfire at a chrysler dealer 2 weeks ago notice a leak on valve covers both sides worse on passenger side. the warranty covers leaky gaskets and seals. the question I have should I just do it myself or let them the dealer take care of it . I`ve called around all over Houston and found a chrysler dealer in Humble that has techs that are familiar with the xfire. I read about dealers and how they over price repairs. I don`t want to get screwed on the repairs with other issues arising.
It's an easy DIY.
One thing to remember: CLEAN THE OLD RTM OFF BOTH COVERS.
When you think it is clean, CLEAN IT AGAIN !
( I used a copper brush )
