Default Heeeeee...

Well, I just picked up my Crossfire. O6 Limited Roadster in Oyster Gold (gasp... I read all about the old lady color). O....M....G.... I cannot believe how much I have missed DRIVING! (and I haven't even had it a day). I made my first mod by removing the obnoxious dealership decal.

Question 1: Where is the best place for someone with no sense of direction (read, me) to mount a GPS?

Congratulations !
My choice for my Garmin was windshield center about 1/4" off the dash.

Use that GPS to navigate your way to the Tail of the Dragon in October .......

I bought a vent mount like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Vehicle-GPS-Air-Vent-Mount-Holder-Set-for-Garmin-Nuvi-/131218333168?pt=GPS_Holders_Mounts&hash=item1e8d38ddf0then glued in a couple strips of bicycle inner tube in the prongs so that it wont scratch my vents. Does not move ever.

Depends on the size of the GPS. For TOTD I'd want a HUD.

Welcome. Great choice of car and, while not as fast as black, wonderful and uncommon color.

My next door neighbor's wife has a gold roadster. I always mount my Garmins in the center of the windshield as low as possible. That way I really don't have to take my eyes off the road to read it.
