The first Crossfire Across America?
As many of you may have seen, Kim and I purchased an SRT-6 roadster. The car was located in San Diego, California. We decided it was too good a deal to pass up and went flying across the country to go pick up our newest addition to the group.
This all started back at the fall Dragon when I sent Kim to Murphy, NC to pick up a water pump for Diana's car. Her car was making weird noises from the wobbly pump and I was confident we could fix it on the spot at the Fontana Lodge. So off she went...and upon her return her first words were "We have GOT to get another SRT-6!". Not a word about getting the parts, just that she wanted another one. So on the interwebs I went to look.
My searches led me to a car I had no real information on, but it looked nice...and the price looked nicer! A little more searching led me back here, where the car was also listed with a bit more info. We messaged the owner, Addict, and agreed on a fantastic price, and made our arrangements to get her.
We traveled 10 states, went from over 7,000 feet to 8 feet below sea level, had temps from 17 to 87 degrees, started at the Pacific Ocean and ended on the Atlantic Ocean, traveled over 3,000 miles, saw mountains, plains, canyons, marshes, and a few National Parks. It was a truly memorable trip that many shared with us through social media, but we wanted to share with our Crossfire family here too. Attached are some pics of the ride...hope you enjoy them!

Enjoy the new ride. It is a testament to the reliability of these cars that you can pick up a used one and drive it that distance with no issues. If you don't mind, share the mileage and price for those of us still looking for that special [graphite] SRT6 roadster.
I was told to hold my cards on what the price was, but I can tell you it was less than asking. Picked her up with a hair over 81K miles, now has slightly over 84K. She's not going anywhere....
