Default Thoughts on n/a wheels vs srt wheels

Iv finally found a srt6 that im going to view and hopefully trade up from my standard xfire, My opinion is that I like the n/a wheels alot more and would swap them over with the srt.
What are other's opinions on me doing this.

Spokes vs more spokes. NA's are easier to clean, SRT's are more shiny. Go with what you like best. But remember, if you ever want to sell your SRT, the next buyer will probably expect it to have SRT wheels.

You will be the one driving the car, make it the way you want it. Again, for resale, it might be best to keep the originals. You could do that and put a nice set of aftermarket wheels on which are close to what you like.

You would be in a minority of one I would think, nobody has switched the NA wheels for SRT rims to my knowledge except Fubu which is a different situation. If you do decide to change them, keep them, as a potential future buyer may have strong opinions on the issue.

I think you got that bass-akwards Dave.
Nobody would swap SRT6 wheels for NA wheels.
LOTS have installed SRT6 ( or SE wheels ) on a NA, including me someday if I can ever find someone to refinish the SE wheels I have.

Ok. Thanks for your thoughts guys. That's made my mind up.
I've also been told today by the guy that he's lost the service book so can't prove its had them, And the last service was done by his pal who works for bmw.

I'm sure that most people here could not come up with a service sheet showing a verifiable record of service. We do our own servicing because we do not trust the dealers and most garages.

opinion? they aren't driving your car its yours you want to be happy driving it to h--- with

the other opinions

Doesn't matter now. I was on my way out the house this morning to go and see the car. Thought id send a message to let him know.
Got a reply back saying someone else had bought it but I could still have a look if I wanted. A bit pointless and if I hadn't of text I'd of driven all that way for nothing. So im gutted. Keep on looking
