Default Key & Fob

We recently purchased a '07 Limited Roadster that only came with one Key Fob. I have been searching for one at a resemble cost and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has purchased one for under $200 that was cut and programmed.

Went to the web site, but when I got to the checkout the $58 in shipping cost seemed exorbitant . Do you remember what you paid for shipping?

It looks like you have your answer, but I ended up buying two keys from different Chrysler dealers. They have to be laser cut and I was told they were oem only. You have to provide your VIN and I recall they were about $140/each. The instructions for programming them are in the forum.

Laser cut? Sorry that is not true, the dealer brings these types of statements up to make the cost seem reasonable. They are cut using a small rotating cutter, like an end mill. You can see the machining marks.

ZERACER
I live on the Calif. delta, over a 1,000 mile of waterways.
I actually live on my boat.."In Lieu of XANAX"
Have a family of duck every year to feed along with a bunch of strippers, black bass and catfish.
Very peaceful

Thanks KDW4Him: I finally found his phone # online and gave him a call. Seems like his website and I don't play well together. Something about putting in 9 digits for my zip caused it to go bunkers. Each time I quit and came back it also added another one to my cart. So we handled it all my phone.

Received the Key & fob today. Took me all of 30 sec to program. The local Chrysler dealer wanted $50. To anyone needing a replacement, Needwings I recommend Needwings.

I just got a Crossfire today with only 1 key/fob. What I was wondering, is there a way to clear all other fobs/transceivers from the car, so whoever still has the other key, can't drive my car? I know on some other Chryslers of the era, you could, as long as you had 1 working key. Obviously the mechanical key will still unlock the door, but so the ignition will not work.

As far as I know the short answer to your question is ...... No.
Get another key from Needswings, because if you lose the one you have you will be SOOL.
