Default $3 Turn Signal Mirrors

I refused to pay $230-$250 for some simple turn signal mirrors just cause they are Mopar, so i resprted to the good ol' chinese and bought some $3 LED turn signals. They come in many different styles (amber, red, sequential, etc.) Nut i went with the basic red ones. I chose red cuz if some of u remember i painted my rear blinker red. The pic is the mach up phase but u can still get the gist. Will post final pic when done.

What mirrors do these go on? Surely the heated mirror elements must be sacrificed to some degree? That would seem like a waste of a good mirror, I can't say I would want that dome to my spare mirrors. I was going to sell my mirrors but not now as I would not want to see them butchered.

Maybe they could be affixed to some after market mirror replacements that lack the heater elements, which are stuck on with double sided tape to the plastic back of the OEM mirrors.

68 degrees yesterday and about the same all week but it has started to rain now and getting colder.
I do not need heated mirrors either as my car goes into hibernation for five months.
Look at the map and you will see that a good proportion of the US farther North than us and they really freeze their buns off in the winter.

I have been using my heated mirrors several times a week for a month or so now. I like the turn signal mirrors, but would much rather keep the factory heaters.

He posted front and back pictures of the finished mirrors over on the Facebook page. He had to lose the heated portion. Looked like double sided tape or something.
