Default Suspicious PM's or posts

I received two messages from members yesterday similar to the one I have quoted below stating that they had received private messages that contain suspicious information providing links to be opened

"Gary, just had a PM regarding Crossfire 14th Anniversary, when I try to read the message my computer tells me it is "suspect". Anyone else get one of these"

If you receive a PM containing suspicious information or asking you to click on any link please delete the PM and notify me with the screen name of the user that it was sent from.
This also applies to any suspicious threads or posts that any of you find.
We do our best to keep the scammers and the spammers away but they do tend to slip in once in awhile
Your help in identifying these unwanted users is appreciated

Thanks Gary

Yep, me too. 14th anniversary and link to free gift.
My Anti-Malware prevented me from opening it.

Here is mine from the same source:

As you may know, CrossfireForum - The Chrysler Crossfire and SRT6 Resource is celebrating it's 14th anniversary. This is why we've prepared a free gift to each of our active users.

Gary, I received one of these also, just deleted it. Also, I received a PM from one budaman, which was threatening and contained foul language. I tried to reply cordially but he blocks PMs. If you can access my PMs, you are welcome to look at it. A pretty poor forum example, I'm sure glad these types are ratre.

I really wish people would get a life instead of bothering everybody with childish spam. Anyway, great forum and thanks for all those service stickies!
