Default Crossfire Recall

Yesterday I got in the mail an "important safety recall" from FCA indicating that my 2008 Crossfire has a problem with the driver's airbag inflator.

The repair is free but the required parts are not available at this time.

Has anybody else received this recall?

Yes - There are a couple of threads already going on this. One is under TSB category; another is under this category (All Crossfires) labeled Air Bag Recall. The latter is probably one most of us are using. You are not alone!

This is just one of the zillions of Takata airbag recalls. How they've survived bankruptcy during this crisis baffles me.

Yep, my son's 2007 recalled but unfortunately it is stored (not registered) so no action taken yet.
