Upper Coolant Hoses? Full coolant service?
Hi!
I wonder if I could solicit some advice for a 2005 Crossfire Roadster. It's a seldom-used car with 50K miles. I noticed the coolant hoses are pretty soft. Given that they are 11 years old, I suppose it's expected.
1.) I'd like to do a full cooling system service. I found the bottom radiator hose on Rock Auto, but can't find the "two piece" upper hose (s.) Does anyone have the part numbers for them? Are they available aftermarket?
2.) Also, would you bother changing the thermostat and gasket? Is this a "wear" item?
3.) Finally, what's the latest on coolant? Is the orange stuff the way to go or has the thinking changed on this?
Thanks much for all of your help.

It gives the part number and shows the upper hose assembly, I hope it is what you want.
CLICK
Also use Zerex G-05 coolant as suggested. Valk shows the premixed, use the concentrate for a full fluid change.

Here is the post that Valk made some six years ago, this old brain remembered Valk posting about this and I just had to do a search for it.

Again.
Follow his advice and Valk's guide. I replaced everything I could. Hoses, coolant (G05) and the t-stat.
