Default Tire Sealant

For how long may the tire sealant be used successfully? Mine says it has expired many years ago and a replacement is $160.

Thanks,
David

Get a tire patch kit.
The sealant is/was for emergencies only, once used you will have to replace the tire very soon.

My sealant sits in the basement, replaced by a puncture repair kit, the type with the sticky string and the tool to use it.
Larger problems may or may not be solved with a patch installed on the inside of the tire.
I would never use that kit, get an AAA membership and wait for them to get you out of trouble.
I laugh when I see these kits being sold on eBay, they can do more damage than good.

I do the puncture repair kit too. Also heard the inflatable goo kit kills the TPMS sensor inside the tire.

As others have stated dont use that stuff it does more harm then good. Also when its time to change your tire, the person changing your tire will hate you.
