Default Lost ornament

Hi folks!

So I had a small cross on my necklace and it must have came loose or snapped off when I turned around in the car and it fell between the sheet and center console. I tried to reach down and get it and it seems like that made it worse...it fell behind the track between the track and the center console. What is the best way to get it out? It's such a tight spot and I can feel it if I reach down but I can't get it out!

This necklace ornament is dear to my heart so I'd appreciate any help in getting it back!

Thank you!

Nick

Go to almost an auto parts store an ask for a grabsit. It a small 3 or 4 prong tool made just for things like this. Ask for a demonstration an you won't even have to buy one ($3.99) , if you do...

Is it possibly magnetic ? If so, you could use a mechanic's magnetic pickup.

( or chewing gum on a bent coat hanger )

I've had this happen several times before. Try moving the seat up or back and then look under the seat itself. You should be able to reach it from under the seat.

4 nuts hold the seat in place. I think they're 13mm. Seats are heavy, and be careful getting them out, but it is an easy job.

Once out, you should easily be able to retrieve you lost item.

when I am working in or on tight areas, I use electrical tape. Try double sided tape or regular tape folded over a stick etc. THis allows getting a grip on items and unlike a magnetic, that grabs all metal, you can pick up most any light item. Enjoy, woody
