sound deadening
Gentlemen - I am wanting to try and reduce some of the road noise in my 05 Limited Coupe. It seems to be coming from the rear of the car. I am thinking of laying down some "Hushmat" or "Dynamat" in the rear area, under the carpet. Has anyone had any experience with either of these products? If you have, please let me know your opinions. There may be other ways to quiet the interior and if you have any ideas, again, please let me know.
I've seen other sound proofing materials advertised such as Eastwood's, Summit's and Jeg's. Amazon has one that must be their private label. I don't want to do the job twice, don't want smelly material, and don't want material that will melt and run from normal heat in and around the car.
Let me know your ideas and experiences, pro and con. You can email me if you like or post here on this site.
Thanks,
Jim

That’s what I do.
When my wife says the car is noisy, I say “Speak up”.
With all the trunk panels out it is really bad.
