Default The search for my own Crossfire begins

I just joined this forum tonight. Within an hour I was in touch with a member here who lives in my town that owns two Crossfires. He was generous enough to offer to show me his cars and in fact let me take one of them for a drive. That says a lot about a guy to allow a complete stranger to walk up your driveway and you let him drive one of your cars. I would like to publicly thank forum member Larry Hitze for his generosity. Good guy. He gave me some very good information about the cars and has helped me decide to go ahead and search for one of these.
So....my search officially begins. I'm looking for a 05-08 roadster convertible with dark leather interior and automatic transmission. Must be clean and well maintained. If you know of any near Indiana please let me know. I'm not in any hurry so I'll take the time to find one that fits my criteria.

So I spent way too much time online today looking to see what's available. Of all of them I find within a reasonable distance I only find ONE that checks all the boxes. The only exception is its YELLOW! I realize it is a more rare color for this car but I'm not so sure I'm a yellow car kind of guy. Honestly I think the car looks great but don't think I want to own it. So the search continues.

I have a beauty but I’m in Florida. I’m sure we can work out shipping it via auto train if we can make a deal. Call me at 719-238-4593. My name is Adam

There are bunches of them out there. Indiana and Ohio seem to offer them up pretty often. Most are automatics with dark interior.
Me, I want a low mileage stick. Yellow on bi-color would be perfect.

You might want to post in the For Sale section

My search has ended. I'm now the proud owner of a 2006 roadster limited. Brought it home last night. Needs some TLC but I'm proud to be a Crossfire owner.

By spending a bit more money you can get an SRT6 roadster, twice as much power, auto, and a rarer car. As luck would have it yellow is not available.
Think about it now and not regret it later.

I was wondering why you responded to my year old thread. Anyway, I found a great 06 Aero Blue roadster limited NA. Its been a great car for the last year and the help here on this forum has been great getting it all sorted out. Just got back from the fall dragon event and the car performed fantastic.
