Want to know if anyone knows the failure rate on the skrem unit.ie, 911 bearing failure was less than 5%and the resale tanked.
In addition, has anyone personally driven a cfire without a battery in the key fob,or with only a key without the fob attached😬

You can drive it without batteries in the fob but you need the fob with the key as there is a chip inside the fob that the car needs to start.
The SKREEM failure rate is not known to us.

I don't think that is possible. You're right about the Porsche situation - the aftermarket bearing is costly the job is severel thou - about five I'm told.

180 is correct.
No battery required in FOB to start.
SKREEM halo powers and reads chip.
FOB battery only powers remote control features (lock/unlock)
