Licensed Crossfires on the road
Just curious, but does anyone have any idea of how many licensed Crossfire's might be on the highway's of the USA? I know that might be just a guess for an answer, but it would be interesting to know about how many of our loved XF's are still running and not crushed in some salvage yard or metal recycle plant. Let me know your guesstimate. Nobody should make fun of anybody's answer, it just a guess. Maybe there's some XF clubs that might have some insight on this. Hell, I don't even know how many were made, in total, anyway, for sale in the USA.

How many? CLICK for answer
Yes, but we are wondering how many are left 1/3???
So am I curious but that is probably an impossible question to answer, I answered his last query on how many made for the US market. I do not write novels in my answers.
I don't know if we have lost more Crossfires here in the USA compared to the UK. But, if you applied 74% to onehundred80's numbers in his chart, then (counting USA + Canada): 74% x (53,431 + 2,357) = 41,283 licensed Crossfires in the USA+Canada.
And just for fun, here's a comparison chart for sales from 2004 to 2008 for the Crossfire, Miata, and Saturn Sky.
Thru Oct 2019 there were just under 40K Xfires still in operation in the US. So despite the annual scrappage rate, there are 75% of the orig 53K still on the road here, indicating the Xfire is a 2nd/3rd fun, toy vehicle and not a daily driver (except for Speedy4X4). I would think the same percentage applies to other countries.

I downsized and sold my 30 year old Probe and my 29 year old GMC Suburban last year, no rust on either.
We could make some decent cars using our interiors and your bodies.
We sold a ‘65 Mustang with 70,000 miles on it, four years ago and the interior was really nice but the body needed some serious body work, it was last driven in 1976.
