Default center caps don't match wheels

I purchased reconditioned original wheels.....they don't match the center caps color.....any thoughts? I don't know the history of the center caps...recently bought them,...don't know which is the wrong color...the wheels or center caps?

Paint on car bodies and wheels fade over time while in the sun. So using an exact factory paint code mix will not match a car that has been in the sun for many years. A good body shop may be able to adjust the mix to better match, and they often will blend the paint into adjacent body panels. I have done a few body panel paint repairs over the years with professional paint mix. One example, on the same car, and same paint supply shop, I had a quart mixed and it matched perfect. Fast forward five years and I needed to do another repair and the paint was way off. I ended up taking the fender into the paint shop to show them the original color and how bad the paint match was. In this case it was not fading but a bad paint mix.

Maybe a fellow forum member near you would volunteer to meet in person (with social distancing), so you could compare the wheels and center caps which may give you an idea.
