Default Supercharger boost

I know that by changing the drive pulleys on a supercharger you can vary the boost levels but since so much is computer controlled, does the ecm (ecu) have a way to limit the upper level boost? Meaning like a bleed port or pop off valve or an electronic regulator? Something that limits the top boost of the supercharger?

I haven't had the cover off of my engine yet but does anyone know if there is a place to plumb in a boost gauge?

Thanks in advance

No the ECU does not limit the maximum boost.

I too would like to "see" how much boost my car is producing. If there are any leads on this, i.e. where the easiest place to tap into would be, would be great.
