Default '05 Radio with Nav - Stupid Question

ok folks, i have the std. radio with the build in nav system. can someone tell me why there are so many buttons on this radio? i use 6 plus the next one with the arrow to get to stations 7-12. the rest of the buttons are not used. what are they used for?? am i missing some features? i've owned this car for 3 months now and i can not recall 1 time that i was using the radio where all buttons had a function. what are they for?? i mean really, even if they just gave more radio pre-sets at least there would be reason to have those. a mute button would be great.

All the buttons have functions....you have to read the "Radio" manual.....to many to list.

Many of the button become soft key buttons depending what's being displayed on the screen that aligns with the buttons including the NAV functions.

RTFM will help you.
