Default Check Engine Light and bad gas in the Boston area

About 2 weeks ago, the check engine light came on in my '05 Crossfire Limited Coupe with 52K miles. I brought it into the dealership and was told they're getting multiple codes (P0153, P0133 & P0137), which is odd. The tech called Chrysler and was told to replace the control module. Luckily, it's covered under the Emissions Warranty, because it cost $2700.

After the tech called me to tell me about the control module, I was driving home and heard on the radio about an influx of Audi's and Mercedes' going to mechanics because of the check engine light coming on. Turns out there was something wrong with the gas.

Anyways, I got my car back and the light was out. Yay. Next day, the light was back on....grrr. I filled up at a different gas station and after a few days, the computer reset itself and the check engine light went out. And it's been out for a few days now.

Yep. I started a thread on that, too. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=24386

$4/gallon. Can we at least get a product that won't wreck our engines?

So far they still don't know what the contaminant is, or how to avoid it, or what to do about it. My Check Engine light is still on. I've gone to Citgo and two different Mobils. WTF?!?!

The engine is running rough, and I'm experiencing acceleration problems. Exactly what all the drivers of Benz, Audi, VW cars are saying. I'm hoping for a class-action suit. This is outrageous.

same here, i've brought my limited to the dealer 4 times with a check engine light, and 4 times they haven't a clue what the problem is. So, i have gotten rejected 4 times for a sticker.

Shoot, i'm 16, i get my license in July. How much can i drive? It's gotta be the gas. I'm not sure how ethanol affects us, but I would say an increase in ethanol in our regular pump gas may be to blame.
