Default Grill Mod

I had some extra time today. Found some chrome strakes and decided they would look good on the grill. Pretty simple. I think it plays off the hood well.

I think it looks pretty good.....definitely different. Could you take some pics from the side angle so we could see what it looks like from different views? Thanks.

AGREED! Blacking the grill and giving it 'teeth' gives it a very different look. I like it. Would also like to see the side views.

Looks great!

I've never noticed that the vertical lines of the standard Chrysler grill align with the strakes on the hood.

The strakes are from a faux vent kit by Bully. I'll take some more pics tomorrow. I thought the paint I had was flat black but it turned out Satin. I may repaint it flat. Thanks for the compliments

Why is this in the technical & modifications section and not in the exterior & lighting? This does nothing for performance, its just bling.

Wonder how it would look if you put chrome on the horizontal bars too? Kinda egg crate style??
Maybe someone could photoshop it??

This is a modification so it can be posted here or in the exterior section.
By the way...I like it.

You should be able to find the kit at advance auto. There is an oblong rubber piece that holds the strakes together. I think I need to remove some of the grill material behind each one so the fit is more flush with the rest of the grill.

J.C. Whitney sells them. They're the faux hood/fender vents that look like the MB AMG series.

Ya' know, I got a free JCW catalog recently for the first time in 25 years, and it has exactly the same stuff in it!
