the only problem with removing any material is that you will not be able to go back to stock.. unless you buy a new one. but i do agree that it would look better if it fit flush! still looks great either way though!

I still can not locate these anywhere online.
Can anyone provide a direct link to these.
I usually am pretty resourceful when it comes to tracking things down on the net but this one got me.

Also how do they attach ??

Valk, try this link from JC Whitney. Thanks Maxchichon. They're not too cheap. You would need two packs to get your 5 strakes. But you would have spares if needed.

Kinda like the grill of a 300 or minivan crosshatch.

OK I did find them previously.
I just didn't know that was the item that was used.
Still wonder how you take them apart and attach them to the Crossfire grill.

Thanks for the direct link.
It will be helpful to others viewing this thread to.

I was hoping some one would ask that .... it is a 1/4" (.25 inch) trim available at autozone. For a tight nice finish have to cut at 45 degree angle.

Chuck,

I like your ingenuity, but since you asked and yes I will probably get beat up on this one because everyone likes it but you just went to the dodge caravan look.

I just feel that the grill on this car has to remain a bit more subtle and less like a large mouth bass. I think that it actually cheapens our cars classic lines and makes it look like another one of the dodge lineup!

I guess it looks better in person but just not to my taste.

I have to agree with you here Nate-man, but I did not want to be the first LOL

To each his own, but that sebring grill on the front will always look like a sebring grill to me, that is why I went black mesh, not trying to be 300 style blinging out of control, but still want something with some style....

nice job on the ingenuity Chuck, as long as you like it, who gives a ****.

Black mesh grille = style?
That flat sheet metal chrome surround kills it.
I did not want to be the first, but sometimes you have to. To each his own, as long as you like it, as you say.

Oopsie didn't see ur pvt msg. Here is the link to product in Autozone. (I am not an Autozone rep or has any stake with them

AutoZone.com | 1/4 in. x 20 ft. custom chrome edge molding roll | 1/4 in. x 20 ft. custom chrome edge molding roll

Also the product you will see in this site (1/4" CUSTOM CHROME)

Cowles Products - Automotive Molding & Striping

I really didn't get any compliments from people I showed, cause they couldn't figure out it was a mod until I told them. But when I told them they couldn't believe I did it !!!

So it really looks factory like ...

Good luck guys...
