Default Should I get the TVT250 kit?

Hey all... just got my base 05 coupe. Having traded in a very slow Hyundai Tiburon 4 cylinder, the Crossfire already feels like a Ferrari by comparison.

Then, lo and behold, I see a way to boost HP even higher with a simple kit from TVT without even having to do an exhaust or anything to make the car loud (God my tiburon header/exhaust setup got so annoying after 30 mins on the freeway).

Is the performance difference really noticeable? If I lay out the cash, will I be grinning like an idiot (even more than I already am)?

Thanks!

We should try to get a group buy togther, I'm interested in this Kit as well. Boosting your car to 265 hp takes the car to another level not SRT level, but a notch lower.

Are there any dyno sheets available with the TVT 250?

I put the kit in with the CAI. I would say the engine breaths much better and revs smoothly through to redline.
The CAI is pretty loud when you put your foot in it.
The other thing I noticed was the car liked to cruise around 80mph now it seems to prefer 90mph.

TVT is top notched. Go for it but try to get a few more takers b/c TVT offers group buy discounts to XFi members.

For whomever is going to organize this group buy, bear in mind that there is more than one option for the TVT kit regarding air intake options. A lot of people already have an air intake which is not stock (like myself) so they do not want to waste money duplicating/obsoleting something they already have. So, you may want to consider group buys on items like injectors or ECU tunings etc.
I'd love the TVT265 but I can't do without my car while there's no ECU, also when you remove the ECU you can not lock the doors without the alarm going off - trust me, I know, it pi$$ed me off and confused for about half an hour. Therefore, if you have no garage to keep your car in, you have to leave it unlocked.

We've taken it to the track and recorded a best of 14.6@96.2 mph with a 2.2 60' time.

We know of one other customer that has taken it to the track, but we are ironing some issues the car is having.

Anybody know roughly how much it shaves off of the 0-60?
