I've posted the dyno like 3 times on this site. I have dynos from several other cars with the kit as well that I will post.

I'm replying via Blackberry, but I'll post up pics when i get back.

Thanks from all of us Anthony.
May I suggest you post it in your gallery for the next time somebody says...
"Do we have a dyno?"
"Do we have drag slip times?"

Oh, and possibly one of the actual car on the dyno for those nay sayers who say "It could be any car, blah, blah, blah..."

Question Re: Should I get the TVT250 kit?

I know, I know, you can't have everything ... performance and good gas mileage, but can someone tell me what they have seen before and after installation of the TVT250 regarding gas mileage? Even better if you have the CAI option...

Thanks!

thenderaaa,
The gas mileage is very close between stock and TVT250 with CAI. I have gotten up to 30mpg (US Gallon) with it on the highway.

I have nothing other than a NeedsWings CAI and Magnaflow 16633.......I've got a 14.6761 and 2.1641 60'. I would have thought ithe 265 kit would have done better?

I'm pretty sure if a 250 equipped car were to race you, it would be a pretty sad sight for your car.

Anyone posted a track time for the 250 kit yet? I've posted our CAI at a 14.6@96.1 mph, but haven't tracked the full kit yet.

Downwardspiral and I are hoping to get a 13.9 with it. Just have to find time to get there.

Oh....my mistake.

On this thread about the 250 kit, on post#16, what you meant to say was that that run was with the CAI only, especially when post #14 asked if anyone took this Combo to the track, and post #15 said they thought you did take it to the track.

Fairly easy to see how someone could be misled into thinking you were actually talking about your 250 kit on the 250 kit thread.

Mistakes happen. I'll forgive you.

That run was with some issues, basically we dynoed 178HP the following day and the clutch was kinda shot. It made the same time we had when we posted way back when with just the CAI. But at the time of this thread those were really the only results we could post, so it can really only get better from there.

That's a good 60' time for these cars. What tire/rim combo were you running ? If that's dead stock you are doing pretty darn well ! The launch/60' times are what hurts these cars at the strip. I've run a lot of cars over the years and the Crossfire is tricky to get a good launch from the line. Not like a solid axle 'stang where you just tach it up and dump the clutch...
