Default so we have the new zeitronix dashdaq setup...

its very cool, ive been playing with it for a few hours now and am still trying to figure out all of the features. ill have to make a real list but off the top of my heads its displaying/recording rpm, tps, iat, coolant temp, engine load, all the different fuel trims, timing, voltage, MAP, ect..

i was able to plug it right into our existing zt2 without any issues.

i need to pick up a MMC/SD memory card so i can record all this good stuff, my camera used compactflash so i cant snag it

ill get you guys better pictures tomorrow but here is how it looked after a test drive

i have a lot of figuring out options to go on this thing but it looks very promising, good info to come...

btw, here is info on the dashdaq www.dashdaq.com and we get them with the zeitronix licencce preinstalled so they are plug and play.

absolutely not, he just has it mounted in a crossfire in the photos to trick you.

lol, evidentally it does or he would not post it up here and have it on display in the photos in a crossfire.

That is a nice option for those that do not want to run a laptop in their cars.

Oohhh. I like this! Let us know all the bad things about it too, if there are any. I'd love to have this tool.

yes it plugs into the odb2 port under the dash on the crossfire. so far the only downfall is the pricetag but that is beginning to not be an issue anymore now that i see how much this little thing can do.

ill zap some more pictures today once we finish boxing up orders.

I just assumed it worked with the zeitronix wideband, so this is a obd2 tool? That is REALLY nice then!

yes it can be used with the zt2 wideband and or the obd2 port. i figured out how to display hp and torque based on vehicle speed, rpm, and weight today so thats now in the mix. i can display 24 peramters at a time, i now need to go pick up the sd memory card to make some pretty graphs for everyone

i installed a zt2 kit onto a local srt4 neon today and it was a breeze since we didnt need to tap and then run wires for rpm and tps, we just needed to wire up power and ground btw, the dashdaq pulled up 17 peramters thru the odb for the srt4, we picked up 24 on the srt6

For what all this little gadget can do, $599 isn't that bad.

Because I like asking all of the "for dummies" questions:

So, if I don't have and added sensors or gages, I can get this for $599 and it just plugs into power and OBDII, no funky wiring required?

Was it showing a number for boost? Is that MAP?

Are the numbers it shows for AFR from OBDII or are those only if you have the ZT2?

What's a ZT2? (and how much is it?)

I need beginners information too. Having never used any type of data logger or plug in, I'm ignorant about what it can and cannot do. Help out Tom and me.
