Default troubleshoot stock radio issue

After a water leak on passenger side due to clogged cowl vents, the radio is not working...
it powers up and shows radio station / song etc. but only a muffled sound from sub woofer . no sound from speakers. checked fuses #5 & 8 & 23.
Obviously water probably caused it but I am hoping it did not do serious damage.
The power amp is located in passenger footwell so I suspect it was damaged from water

I removed the amplifier and the connectors were water damaged. I noticed 2 leads in particular that had green corrosion with red / yellow stripe that is power to fuse 23 in wiring diagram ?

I'd suspect that it's toast and replace it.

I found a used factory amp to replace the fried one.

How can I reattach the wire - red/yellow that goes in the back of the 12 pin amp connector ? The wire was corroded and was loose - Is it simply just pushing a newly stripped end into pin hole? What holds the wire into the pin hole on back of connector? It seems maybe there was a metal type pin that gets attached to wire then pushed into plastic connector.
