Default Using a GPS to Find Speed Traps?

ok I have a GPS which is cool, but I found this online and wondered if it works like it says it does, basicly you down load poi maps that are updated as needed. when your moving around in your car, it 'alerts you' to 'known' speed traps and traffic cameras.

Sounds cool ( I want it), does anyone on here use something like this? I think there are a couple of sites that do this. this is the one I was looking at.

If we had all the places they set up speed traps around here in the POI, it would look like we lived in Disneyland.

I load traps into my GPS and set a proximity alert so that about a mile away I get a beep and a warning that I am approaching a marked point. The problem is, there is a limit to how many points will auto-alert with my GPS (Garmin GPSMap76csx) so past that limit, there's still a mark but it's not going to jump out at you while you're driving.

I love my BEL Driver STI... It does the job. It even sorted out a traffic sign false Ka signal from the Laser signal being sent by the LEO parked behind the traffic sign...

There's also detectors that will mark places using GPS tech and allow you to class them as "false" or real and warn when you get near. This might be the tie in to sites that offer the data sets.
