I hit the 1/4 mile today with Steve to get some 11's. Fortunately I was successful and the car is trapping like a champ even in less-than-desirable air.

Both runs are with Wedge Performance E40 tunes in 2K+ DA air. Once I get the ET Streets and more practice I think the car will do much better. Traction is keeping it from mid 11's, not power.

I'm absolutely ecstatic with the customer support from Ken, and the power of the Wedge Performance tunes, so I'm really happy with where I'm at right now. I expect the new tires, decent DA, and the E60 tune and the car will produce some impressive ET's and high trap speeds!

It's almost where I want it. Hopefully the E60 file for 60% ethanol mix will get my trap speed to 120. Then once fall hits the better DA and ET Streets will lead to some good runs.

As for Steve, his engine is getting a check-up. If all goes as planned, he'll be able to push it to around 900 WHP. It's going to be sick.

Love the cool down method! I'll have to keep that in mind next time I'm at the track.

 

Works really well. You might want to place one fan in front of the HE on the SRT6 though.
