Flickering Lights with LED & HID Install
Hey guys, I tried searching a little bit but couldnt seem to find an answer. I recently installed LED's in pretty much all the lights along with HID's in my Lo's and Fog's. Now my questions is, when I say roll the window up or down I get a pretty strong flicker in the map lights(which are now LEDs). Is this normal/okay? Is possibly a battery or alternator issue caused by the HID's? (I didnt really notice it when I only had the HID Lo's installed)
Also, I installed the error code eliminators with the Lo's and Fog's, but still get the light on the dash. Now its because of the Parking Light LED's more than likely, correct? Now do I just need to increase the resistance in that line to make it think its not an LED? But will this also dim the Parking Light?
Thanks in advance guys!

This link is a place I found with leds with built in resistors, its on a post in exterior and lighting section too,
2x Car CAN-BUS Bulbs 36mm 2-SMD LED Festoon Light White - eBay (item 130429868726 end time Dec-08-10 00:32:42 PST)
if you didnt put can-bus bulbs in the leds your computer is having a field day registering all the lights thst it thinks are out. I believe your HIDS are ok since you put error code in them. I searched alot on LEDs and believe me, the easiest way to go is with the company in the link (factorykiss) yes its chinese but what isnt nowadays.
Try putting your normal bulbs back and see if the HIDs are causing the problem

Thanks for the responses guys! At least the map flickering isn't that much of an issue, that's one item out of the way.
Now with the error code, I can live with that light on the dash so long as its not casuing any major problems or won't in the future.

That light out indicator is caused by your parking light LEDs and they make the same resistors to go in line with those as they do with the HIDs. Personally, I think they look so much better with LEDs, I replaced every one inside and outside the car and just live with the light
Yeah I'm fine with the warning light as the leds look soooo much better, so long as the decreased resistance won't hurt anything you know
Replaced all of my OEM bulbs (Xfire & XLR) with LED's from SuperIllumination....never had a flicker. Used standard LED's in the Crossfire and Can-Bus LED's in the XLR.
