How good is this?
How good is this?
Hi I am David from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia and a recent purchaser of a 2006 cabriolet that has quickly become my most favourite inanimate object ever. I had always admired the very few that I had seen (they are a very rare bird in Oz) and when the stars aligned made the decision to go for it. And boy am I happy. This car is the most enjoyable driving experience I have ever had and I always have a smile on my face when I see it or sit in it. Our climate means that the top is down almost every day ( even in the middle of our winter due to the excellent heater and heated seats) and it always draws compliments every where, even when parking in car parks. No one ever has a bad word to say about the way it looks and I expect that will continue for as long as the car exists.
I now understand the cult like support this little beauty has around the globe.

I can absolutely understand your excitement. I feel the same way - have had my Crossie now for 3 years and have a big smile on my face every time I get in it and smell the fresh interior! Looks absolutely amazing in the parking lot each morning and it sure draws lots of stares! An all around comfortable and fast ride. Been eyeballing an SRT6 now for a while - that would be my upgrade to the LIMITED Xfire! Good luck and lots of enjoyment. You will find much valuable and helpful information on this forum!

Re: How good is this?
Welcome, I know exactly how you feel. I have had mine for about a year and a half and I love it. Even with the worse than usual winter last year i still managed to get it out about once a week or at worse once every couple weeks. Don't hate me but I am kind of envious of those like you who can put the top down year round (I really should move). I did have mine down in late December and early February last winter.
