Grats on your purchase.
Pics? Show it off.
Need more info, just saying a coolant leak could be anything from a loose hose clamp to a cracked block.
Does it leave a puddle on the ground?
Can you see where it is coming from?

MB Motering - 18" diam not sure on width, I'll check when I get off work.

Quick question on the tires, with this stiff suspension, how many miles should I expext to get out of the tires under conservative driving?

depends on the tires wear rating and what brand..... I got 20K out of the original set....but after a few mods here and there, I don't think even 8k on the rears will be possible...lol

I run 275/35 G-Max's and do a search and you will find others reporting 40k - 45k miles on them, with proper alignment. they are a all season rain tire with soft sidewalls. I am on my 3rd set of rear tires and I went with the G-Max's and love them on the back. Front I like a stiffer sidewall.
If you find a place near you that offers free rotation for life of the tire is a good place to go. For a staggered set they have to unmount flip and remount, to put the tire on the other side, so with the high camber of our cars the inside of the tire is on the outside. So when I get my tires rotated they are fully rebalanced everytime, and does not cost anything if you buy your tires from a shop that offers lifetime rotation.
95% of shops will price match a brick and mortar store, so they will match discount tire and tire rack. Along with the free rotation.

I second Speedy's comment. I'm on my second set of G-Maxs on the 05 Limited. I got 42k on first set but that's after adding DIY adjustable rear cambers and front adjustment bolts with a 4 wheel laser align. And I also did the flip rotation on all 4 tires. Got 20K max on previuos 3 sets of other make tires so the G-Maxs saved me the cost of an entire new set (approx. $800). 235/40-18 fronts and 275/35-19 rears on the stock rims @ stock height. The taller sidewalls do give a little more comfortable ride since mine are mostly highway driven. Hard to beat the mileage/tread wear for the price!

Great grip in the rain.
Other tires I have had on xfire (none cheap) tend to hydroplane on normal interstate driving in rain (grooves in road)
Virtually eliminated with the G-Max's on rear.

Current tires:

Front:
Hankook - Ventus V12 Evo - 225/40ZR18 92Y

Rear:
Yokohama - YK580 - 255/40R18 95W

The seem to have good tread left on them for now, so ima run them until they need changed and will consider the gmax if i can find them here on the western side of the ATL

off topic, whats up with the windshield side guards/rails all being the same color on this car?

They were designed to match the color of the door handles, side strakes, front grill trim and rims.

makes sense, being this car came with aftermarket rims, that just made the guards/walls stand out a little.

at first i thought the car had been in an accident, but then i saw the carfax and thought, well maybe its just meant to be like that, then i saw some photos of other crossfire's, and they all had it, so it made me curious.

thanks for reply.
