Default New 2 us '08 roadster

Just picked up an 08 roadster and figured what better place to gain info than here. I bought it as a second car for my wife this coming summer and will be her Christmas gift so don't tell her. I personally cruise around in a 41 ****** with lsa power and 6 spd stick so I figured she needed something cool as well. I have always liked the crossfire and I am sure she's gonna love it.

The Wi11ys is Bad Asp, the Crossfire is one of the rarest colors you can get.
I've got to ask, what's up with your screen name? Are we related?:

Owned a 73 fresh plum 401 gopak 4 gear AMX for 27 years. It was my baby for a long while and was a fantastic car that I drove everywhere. Drove it to Nova Scotia once from Toronto with 3:91 gears. I would drive it two hours to the track and my best pass was 12.60 with a stock block 390. On a day of weakness I sold it to the previous owner and have owned a boatload of cars since but none that have kept me interested long enough to own for more than a year. I have since the age of 10 wanted a ****** coupe after seeing the movie hotrod and finally realized my dream this summer. Driving a fuel injected supercharged cadillac powered ****** has restored my passion so I think this one's a keeper. I love it but will always fondly remember my AMX. I have always seen a little AMC in the crossfire as it's just a bit different than anything this world has to offer and one reason I can appreciate it. I love the 70 hood with the power blister by the way.

There seem to be a bunch of us with AMX's in our past as well. The first time I saw a Crossfire I felt that was what the AMX would have grown up to be.

I owned a 1970 (360, close ratio stick, factory side pipes, leather, ram air, c stripes, luggage rack, and, as I recall, vacuum wipers, manual steering and manual brakes) and my (then) wife a 1968 1/2 (air,ps, pdb, auto, go pak).

I guess I am a hard core car bike sled whatever guy. The neighbor and I race our lawn tractors when the opportunity presents itself. Little does he know I stuffed an 18 hp ohv mill in my old wheelhorse so he never stands a chance. I am an avid drag racer and have been riding a bracket dragbike for 5 seasons and it's a blast 9.0@145 every pass with a 1.29 short time. Not by far the fastest thing but it's a cheap thrill never the less. Here's a couple of my other toys

Sweet rides all. I had a crappy amc gremlin with a 4 bolt 350 202 fueley heads huge cam and carbs 12 bolt rear and it was fun and built by me and friends. My best bud had a amx hurst red white and blue that we raced all the time. Love those older cars.

So you have owned 1 in 25 or so that was built. Crazy. My wife thinks I am nuts and I have only owned 6 of them 2 gremlins 2 spirits and a j10. Maybe 25 other muscle cars that were short lived.

Wow Steve, another coincidence, besides multiple AMX ownership, I had a Wheelhorse 520 as well. 20hp, but my new zero-turn Cub Cadet "The Tank" will run rings around it.

https://www.google.com/search?q=whee...42%3B250%3B235,
I also had a 4 cylinder Suzuki, (only mine was a 13 sec. 850 shaft drive.)
