Default battery

My battery needs to be cleaned. As with most cars if you unhook the battery you have to have someone reset the computer is this true on the crossfire or can you unhook, hook the battery back and go!

No problem.
You might loose the radio presets.

Advance Auto will copy your computer date onto a flash drive, replace your batter and then reload the copied data back onto the crossfire computer.

I have a 2006 crossfire and if it sits in my garage for 1 week, the battery will need to be recharged. There is a new battery in my crossfire and is this typical?

well, it should hold up longer than a week. cranking amps is usually what suffers. if it is rated at a lower number of cranking amps, in other words a less expensive battery, that may be your problem. Cold temps will cause this as well... Have the battery "load" tested and see what the results are.

You say it's a new battery? Maybe not. I have a 2014 Dodge Ram just a year old and on my second battery. It all depends how long that battery sat before you bought it in my case with a new truck the battery should have lasted for a least 5 years in this desert. Either that or you have something draining on the battery while it's sitting. Try disconnecting the battery while sitting then hook it back up it's the battery if the conditions stay the same
