Default Oil Feed Tubes

Got my '05 Crossfire coupe not too long ago. Performing the usual fluid flushes and tune up jobs. Noticed that it has a ticking which sounds like my old Trans AM lifters. After some searching around for ticking and the M112 engine I found this old thread which seems to point out the culprit.
Lifters on 1997 E420 - Mercedes-Benz Forum

This calls for a replacement of the "oil feed tubes". Has anyone done this? Looked for a write up and did not find one.

Thanks
