Default Clutch pedal travel

Good day fellow Xfire owners. I got this 05 non srt with 54k miles from a guy that supposedly had issues with the soldier joints on the relay box. The car has sat in a garage for the last four years and hasn't been started. I repaired that, got the car to run and now it wont go into gear when running. I bled the slave cylinder and looked into the peep hole on the bell housing and I can see the throw-out bearing pushing in the pressure plate when the clutch is pressed but it doesn't look like its pressing it in far enough to free up the clutch disc. That being said, the clutch pedal inside the car seems to only travel around four-five inches or so and comes no where close to going to the floor. Is there an adjustment on the pedal somewhere under the dash? While pumping the clutch pedal it also seems very easy to push however it does build pressure because when we bled it, it would drop another inch or so. The pedal wasn't hard at the top, only towards the bottom. I have no problems pulling the transmission if I have to but if there could be something else that would repair the problem that would be great!

Thanks for reading, I will anxiously await a reply--and Happy New Year!
