Default Rear cat delete only on NA

I've been doing some research - read most of the old threads on here - but it seems most people who did a rear cat delete also had their mufflers removed or some other mod to the exhaust system.

I'm looking to just get a slightly louder, deeper tone, don't want any drone, had a Magnaflow system on my other car (Genesis Coupe) and the drone at highway was pretty bad, not looking for anything like that here.

Would removing the rear cats and nothing else make any difference in exhaust sound?

From all reports you get a bit deeper tone.

Check my posts and pics here.
I love my setup, if you do not get ride of the sharp bends in front of the muffler you will not get rid of drone.
