Sat nav upgrade questions.
I've just bought a standard used sat nav stereo for the Crossfire.
I have plugged it in and it works plus it controls the cd changer I bought.
The question I have is about the antenna.
I didn't get the aerial with the stereo.
Does the antenna plug in where the normal aerial would go?
The aerial in my car certainly wont plug into the socket where it normally would go.
Can I just buy a normal sat nav antenna or do I need to go to the dealer?
Also where exactly is the Gal wire that I need to run to it?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Norrie.

Okay I've managed to sort the aerial out for the stereo.
All I needed was an adaptor which is the same as a BMW one.
I have still to get a sat nav antenna.
Can I use an aftermarket one?
The proper one from the dealer is £82/ $160.
How much are they in the States?
I think I heard someone say that they were $60.
Does anyone know of a dealer that would ship to the U.K.?
I managed to get the Europe discs off E-Bay.
Please help.
Thanks.
